After finishing Desdemona (RL) I purposely did not cast on another lace project. I knew that soon enough a couple of packages would arrive and I would be up to my ears in lace. Here it is:
From Woolgirl’s Embrace the Lace club
a Mama Lama cashmere yarn and a Sivia Harding beaded scarf pattern. Woolgirl always loads the packages with extras. This kit included, among other things, a matching project bag and stitch marker. Between the lace and the sock club it is like getting a really nice present every month.
From Shakespeare In Lace we have Midsummer’s Night Dream
A beaded shawl with lace pattern names like Fairie Circle and Forest Maze. Click the link, the finished shawl is really beautiful. This is an amazing heirloom sort of pattern. So special that I think I am going to set it aside. I have a picture in my mind of knitting this for the first daughter to be engaged.

Love the matching bag.
And that shawl is divine!
(Typepad wouldn't let me post last night, let's see if it does today....)

Oooh how fun! I didn't know about the Woolgirl lace club. Getting these packages in the mail is such a fun surprise.
I wound my new SIL yarn last night, but I'm kind of having a cast on block. I just can't seem to sit down and cast on (for this or anything else)! Hopefully I'll get past my block tonight.
