Yesterday I had planned to work on Cleo, but alas, life got in the way. Today, today is totally about Cleo. Last night I finished a writing "deadline", and will spend the quiet hours of this morning playing with wool and lace and beads.
Are you aware that Mother's Day is THIS Sunday? The realization has just now sunk in and I am afraid I am sunk along with it. The yarn in yesterday's post was meant to be a Mother's Day gift. There are problems with the plan. Firstly, I began WAY too late. Have I mentioned that I lost the month of March? Secondly, this fiber and I do not have a similar life vision. We are fighting and hating each other, while wanting SO badly to put it all behind us and get along. Mom will be getting a card, bereft of negative fiber energy.
For the record, my mom is aware of the blog, but seldom reads it, so I am safe. What are you planning for your Mum?
I am getting my mother a set of bamboo utensils. She wants them and now she will be greener when eating away from home. No more plastic forks at the deli.

Howdy cool daughter! So I haven't checked out your blogs for awhile. Found some time today and it appears I have wonderful instincts!
You are still safe; certainly you know material gifts come when they are ready. Your card arrived today; champagne and cake sound like a wonderful pairing.
MY mum is getting a weekend at the lake (hopefully without snow) to tour the tulips and daffodils in the flower beds and the bloodroot, trillium, morels and wild leeks in the woods.
I LOVE YOU!!!
