Do you keep a book journal? I first read about such a thing April of last year and immediately began one of my own. The journal I read about was begun when the woman was in high school and she has kept it up since then. I wish I had a record of what I had read in college. A few books stand out for me, but to be able to see them all would be a bit of fun from the past.
Even though I have begun this journal late in life, I look forward to looking back through the volume(s) in 20 years, remembering where I was when reading a specific title, maybe even deciding to read it again, in a new place, with a different outlook.

I have a book quotes journal and since university I've had a book where I write down any titles I want to check out. Sort of book journals :) As almost all of my reading is from the library, I also use our awesome online system to keep track of my completed reads.

This is a great idea. It seems like there are always books that I have read where I can't remember the title or the author and when I would like to read more of the same or something similar I can't always remember enough to find what I'm looking for. Too long a sentence I know but you get the idea! I might have to start a book journal but I will probably start it in Evernote so it's synched on my computer and my phone and is easy to find.

A great idea! I wish I'd started this back in high school and now had several volumes to look back on. I do have my "get from the library" lists. Off to choose a notebook for my new Book Journal. Thanks!
