Time for a Three Week Danish Tie Shawl Project update. Now, the reason I have not posted this update sooner is that I can not get good pictures. First I thought it had something to do with me trying to take photos at night. So I waited until morning. Then I thought maybe it was the gray skies keeping things looking so gray. Then I brought the yarn outside into the bright sunshine. Still icky. So here goes, as is.
This is a close up the variegated yarn I am using for the shawl. It is a BFL from Dragon Fibers, color Big Top. It was spun too thin so I am using it doubled and it works just great.
This is only half of the yarn required for the project. I need to head back to the wheel to spin the rest.
In the midst of my Three Week Shawl Project I am also painting interior walls, getting the work done for writer’s group on Saturday AM, hosting Oldest Daughter’s graduation party Saturday PM and trying to deal with all the daily crap that comes with the running of a 6 person household. I am feeling pretty good about the shawl progress.
