Currently, as a writer, I seem to have 1,000 words a day in me. Not so much. In Stephen King’s On Writing I think he said he writes 10,000 words everyday before lunch. Makes my 1,000 seems pretty inferior. It’s what I’ve got right now. In a few short weeks my time opens up and maybe my word count will too.
So, I get up early and, while working on the book, write 700 words. Then I spend the afternoon writing up a pre-camp letter for parents and the evening typing out a few notes for the next Director, that takes my 1,000. There is nothing left for the blog. No matter what the knitting progress, newest find or mail delivery.
Just a few more weeks. Excuse while I go find one of those spiffy blog count down things.
