not done

There just has not been any “done” to report. 

I have been working on a Dragon Scarf.  I have made so many mods and clarifications to the pattern that once it is finished it will be a post unto itself.

The most recent pair of Flappies has been hiding in a project bag, almost finished.  I have two conflicting emotions happening with these particular Flappies.  OK, three conflicting emotions.  #1, boredom.  I am tired of making Flappies.  Not only do I need to finish this pair, but I have one more pair to finish before Hanukkah.   #2, fear.  I am more than a little worried that I will run out of yarn.  If that happens, it will be close and will mean that I need to rip back BOTH Flappies and make the cuffs shorter.   Big sigh.  #3, guilt.  The pattern I use is my own, and uses a method I have never seen published.  I have every intention of publishing it here on the blog and then in the book.  I need to write this thing down.  Why am I avoiding this?  Is there someone else I can blame?
