After reading a fair amount of New Year's Resolutions and doing some soul searching as to what mine should be, it turns out I do not have any. As a rule I am a goal setter and a wee bit competitive. I managed to accomplish 6/8 of last year's resolutions. I should point out that the 6 accomplished were the important ones (see competitive remark from above) and I feel really good about the list as a whole.
This year is different. I guess I have finally reached that place where I am can accept the fact that I am a good person. I get up everyday and do the best I can. Most days my best is pretty damn good. Some days I am a bit lacking, but I am OK with that. Every single day I learn something new or improve a skill. I am happy and healthy, as are my family. I live in a beautiful part of the world. What more can a person ask for?
