One of the blogs I enjoy reading is Rocks, Waves, Beach. While I do not know where this person lives, i always thought of it as being the Pacific Northwest. The views on her blog are familiar enough and that is where I had placed her in my mind.
Yesterday she posted about snow, lots of snow. My immediate thought was "Oh, I was wrong, she must live on the East Coast." A smarter person would have stopped and thought a little harder. A smarter person would have remembered that this blogger has seen orcas from her beach and is familiar with Canadian mail. A smarter person would seen her snow and checked her own weather forecast.
This morning at my house? Snow. Unexpected and unplanned for. I was warned, but chose not to hear it.
LOL!!! That's so funny.
You are right, I'm on the islands in Canada to the north of you (I'm waving...), although I like to think of it as the Pacific Southwest, which is what it is for Canada :-) No one calls it that really - we're just the Wet West Coast!
I saw snow warnings on the american TV channels for south of us last night. At least today we have brilliant sunshine (although it was -6 C walking to school this morning) so hopefully that will be heading your way as well.
