needles are ready

Last night Husband was treated to his first pair of handspun handknit socks.

 

He is quite pleased with them.

That leaves my sock needles empty.  With luck I will receive a little something to hang from them this afternoon.

It is so uplifting to be able to walk outside in the morning to grab the paper  without shoes or coats.  Spring is here and it feels great.  No, I am not pulling out the deck furniture or planting things yet, but to know the time to do such things is close, brings joy to my heart.

I agree, it's lovely to be able to step outside and not immediately start shivering. And there's been actual sun! And things are budding...there's blooms on the short Rhodies in front of one of the entrances at work!
