For a couple of years it has been my goal to wrap my guests in shawls. We regularly host deck parties, and often the cool breeze off the Puget Sound catches people off guard. Tonight, I was able to clad two guests in warm wraps. I need more, much more. What is your favorite warm wrap?
I just got Folk Shawls from the library. The prairie shawls look like good candidates. Also there is the Nina shawl from the first Mason Dixon book. The color scheme in the book is not for me but in different colors it could be great. Warning these are not made of lace weight yarns these are shawls with some heft.

I love the Feather and Fan Comfort Shawl, by Sarah Bradbury. I'm also a big fan of square shawls and the Pi shawl.

I've always wanted to knit the Maidenhair Shawl from Alice Starmore's Aran Knitting. I'm more a cables person than a lace person, though.
