what was i thinking?

After reading Anne's post I am feeling stupid for not attending Sock Summit.  Yes, I was being considerate in deciding to stay home with Oldest Daughter.  Yes, I was being (unnecessarily) frugal.  Yes, I planned a substitute yarn filled day here at home.  Still, after reading that post I realized all the great and legendary figures I missed.  Of course the chance of being able to actually chit-chat with those people would be slim, but still, I passed up a once in a lifetime chance.  Damn.

I don't know, I considered going, but it would have been a lot of money for a couple of days. Factor that in with the registration rush and possibly not getting the classes you wanted or getting less classes than you planned....I couldn't justify it.

Here's hoping it wasn't really once in a lifetime! I bet they'll do it again next year. :)

(Then again you saw my new-to-me purchase that kept me busy all weekend. It wasn't purchased instead of sock summit, but it sure took my mind off of it.)
