This summer was spent adding two bedrooms downstairs. November and December were spent adding a bathroom and laundry room downstairs. That phase of the construction was pretty painless. Other than not being able to do laundry when the mood struck, and being without water in the kitchen for a couple of days, it was all downstairs.
Now the construction has begun upstairs and it is not painless. We no longer have bathrooms upstairs, and the one downstairs is being shared by 5 busy people. Everything that used to be in the bathrooms is spread over two levels. A shower requires planning.
My office is has become a storage room to hold things from the bedroom as a wall comes out and a closet is added. There is the possibility that our bed will have to move in to that room as well.
Every time I need something I have to go from room to room and try to remember where it was moved.
Husband says it will only be for a couple of weeks. I totally do not believe him. A couple of months seems more reasonable to me.
The worst part is knowing what comes next. The kitchen.
Sending you an extra large glass of wine through the interwebs.

You're brave. I think I'd be considering relocation for a time period.
