A project that was finished in a hurry.
I know, I know, turn off the flash. But this project was finished in the span of 24 hours. I cast on in the dark, cast off in the dark, and Husband will take it to work in the morning, in the dark, that is the best I can do. Why such a hurry? This is a chemo cap for Louisa. Louisa is 10 and on New Year’s Eve she did not feel well. Then the high fever hit, high enough to warrant a trip to the hospital. Faster than you can say how do you spell leukemia, she is checked in and under going chemo. I do not know when she will lose her hair, but she has been doing chemo all week and I did not want this to wait another day.
Clun Forest Hat (rav), Curious Creek alpaca yarn. Curious Creek is now at the top of my yarn list. Amazing colors, unbelievable yarns.
This is my second project with Curious Creek. The first used Wasonga sock yarn. The yarn has a drape that says silk, but silk is not listed on the label. Then there is the Gombe I used for this hat. The label says alpaca, but it feels like a good chashmere. I heart Curious Creek.
Waiting through 1 hour and 10 minutes of Tae Kwan Doe netted this.
Heart to Heart knit with ?, I will have to go find the tag. This is my second Evelyn Clark side to side scarf. I think perhaps this could have gone up a needle size, but it is not a big deal. We will see what happens with a vigorous blocking.
I will save Wandering the Beaches, and Youngest Son’s Neckwarmer and Mitts until tomorrow.
