This weekend I gave Cleo a little rest while I had some fun with Rivendell. Even though I did not have any dedicated knitting time this weekend, I still managed to finish the first 40 rows. A sweet, uncomplicated knit that is easy to pick up and set down again after a couple of rows.
This yarn is so pretty! It changes colors depending on the light. Sometimes it is green, sometimes blue, sometimes grey. A pleasure to work with.
I had planned to return to the shawl today and keep Rivendell as my take-along project, but I am not sure. I do not think I am ready to tuck it away just yet, we'll see.
Cowls are such fabulous projects, and this one looks beautiful.

Very pretty! I didn't get Cleo cast on yet, but I did start preparing to do so by making a working copy and reading through the pattern.
