The visitors have returned home. I miss them already. No idea when I will see them again. It will be our turn to head their direction for the next visit.
I did manage to have a productive fibery day on Friday. I finished the socks that did not want to be finished.
They have even been worn already. The yarn is from Enchanted Knoll Farms.
I finished the wool/alpaca/firestar batt that had been on the wheel for a good month.
Its quite rough, so I do not think I will knit it up. A pretty addition to the handspun shelf.
I finished the Swirling Snow Chart 3 for Longest Night.
A good day.
The upcoming week will be all about jars. My visitors brought me a case of beautiful peaches.
Lovely! Most will be sliced and jarred. Husband has asked for a pie.
I also plan to pickle beets this week.
This weekend we are having a little Music Fest at the house. Good food, good beer, good wine, good music, good friends. Fingers crossed for good weather.
Mmmm, pickled beets. My mum used to always make them. No one in my house likes them but me.
Keeping my fingers crossed for a lovely week-end for you.
And yay on finishing things.

Those peaches look superb! We had fruit trees in Utah, but none here - I may have to remedy that. :)
