Friday there were appointments scheduled that promised waiting room knitting time. There was one little problem, I did not have anything waiting room appropriate to knit. Currently there are two socks on the needles, both require charts and concentration. I also have a shawl in progress, but that project is a 3C's. Chart, concentration AND cumbersome. That meant I needed to cast on something new.
Looking through the pile of patterns I want to knit soon, I came across The Guernsey Wrap. Oh, how I love this pattern. I have not found the perfect yarn, but I do have some suitable yarn, so I cast on. I was mesmerised for about 20 rows before I realized I has just begun another project that required charts and would soon become cumbersome. Damn.
Simple Socks were the only way to save the day and Totally Tubular was just the ticket. Before I could finish winding the yarn it was time to leave. I grabbed a book on my way out the door.
