This is turning into a great knit. The yarn is not my first choice. It has been sitting under the stairs for close to 10 years, a reminder of a failed sweater. But a nice color that deserves to come out and play.
While the pattern is all about charts, they are simple and relaxing charts. This is going to be a great wrap to use on the deck in the evenings.
The pattern calls for fairly aggressive blocking. I plan to make another one in a soft tweedy yarn. When I make the next one I may increases the stitch count and block with a light hand. This would probably work well with handspun. Maybe I should spin some up?
