As soon as I saw this pattern, I knew I wanted to make them. I even knew the yarn I would use. As I began to gather supplies, I was surprise to find out the yarn I had in mind is a single ply. Not going to work for socks, even bedtime slipper type socks. As luck would have it, my super-duper mailman stuffed something special in to the box yesterday.
The December club shipment from Southern Cross Fibers.
4 ounces of superwash BLF, colorway Oasis. This will become 2 pair of Babouches. One to give and one to keep. It should hit the wheel this weekend.
