jars of green


Yesterday I put up 15 jars of Salsa Verde. Last year I did 8 jars and it was no where near enough. The recipe I use is from the book Put 'Em Up by Sherri Brooks. A fabulous book and the tastiest recipe I have found.

In a couple of days I will be heading to a part of the state where the sun can actually be seen in the sky. With luck there will be two cases of peaches in the trunk when I return.

I wonder what other goodies I will find?

Sun? You lucky thing!

I made blackcurrant jam this morning, apricot and then raspberry are on the agenda later today or tomorrow.
