summer in a jar

I have no idea why my mobile blog photos are posting at wonky angles. I guess it is part of the fun, as I am not able to edit posts.

This is 30, count 'em 30, jars of raspberry jam.

As it turns out. The family did not hike today, but raspberries wait for no one, so I canned. Yes, construction happened at the same time. Even in the middle of renovation our kitchen is more efficient than before.

There is talk of a hike tomorrow and I am ready. There are 12 pounds of tomatillos on the counter.
