Yesterday, I did a little spinning.
BFL fiber from Wooly Wonka Fibers Wine and Fiber Club. The colors are from the Red Truck label and spinning up delightfully soft and heathery.
I finished a book. The Paris Wife. I enjoyed it very much, well written and so sad.
I did some canning.
Onion Relish, Enchilada Sauce, Dijon Mustard, and Bourbon Brown Sugar Mustard. Pantry staples that save the day.
Lastly, just as I was ready to fall asleep, I finished a pair of socks.
These are for Oldest Son. His favorite socks happen to be the easiest to knit. He prefers the self-striping sock yarns where all you have to do is knit round and round to make something that looks cool. He told me that he has many classes where you are either in bare feet or socks (Drama Major), and he loves the attention he gets in these classes when he is wearing hand knit socks. I am hoping to tuck another pair in with his Halloween Box.
Awesome socks.. I can see why he gets so much attention. I think anyone would love to have socks like these!

Can you get those flat Ball jars in stores down there? I haven't seen them here, but maybe in the big stores in Victoria. I was looking at doing a mustard myself. Too hot this week-end (finally) for canning, though!
I love those socks.

You are a very good mum, to be sending off handknit socks. :)
I will have to post a photo of my Red Truck. Looks completely different. Did you split your roving up a bit?
