home again

Home again from a quickly planned vacation.  While it is nice to be on the road, letting other people do the cooking and the washing, I am looking forward to making dinner tonight.  Salmon, vegetable risotto, a green salad and a cherry crisp.

I did not do nearly as much knitting as I had expected, but I did make some progress on the Paul Atwell socks.

Just starting the heel flap.

The consensus is that I need different colors for the Fireside Socks, so I will be revisiting them in a couple of weeks.

We saw many beautiful sites while driving around, too bad I can not show you any pictures.  Husband downloaded the photos and I have no idea where they are.  He knows.

Time to open the wine and start chopping vegetables.  It is good to be home.
