The past couple of days have been SO busy. I do not even want to know how many times the car went in and out of the driveway. Of course the only way to stay sane during a busy day is to pull out the canning pot.
Yesterday I put up 6 1/2 pints of Pickled Brussel Sprouts. Husband LOVES them and I am happy to oblige.
This morning, I looked up from the computer to see snow. I spent the next hour standing in the kitchen, whisking lemon curd with snow falling all around me.
So wonderful. The white swirling snow and the bright yelllow lemons.
I've been meaning to ask if you have a good resource for using the crockpot for making jam/jelly/curd/preserves (not the actual canning, but the cooking of stuffs).
I love that on hot scones. mmmmm....
