This past weekend Husband and I were out on the deck, enjoying this cocktail, when his brother called. Husband explained the drink and that we we trying to come up with a name for this adult beverage, one that would be served this summer while we are all together in Hood River. His response? Hood River Sunset. Done.
Hood River Sunset
2 ounces tequila
2 ounces Rhubarb Ginger Syrup
a squeeze of lime
Add tequila and syrup to a double old fashioned glass filled with ice and give it a good stir. Top with a squeeze of lime and garnish with a lime wheel.
Perfect name :) Sounds delicious, too.

I just happen to have an excess of tequila right now. (three bottles? How did that happen. Tequila vortex at my house!) I might have to make your rhubarb ginger syrup! That looks awesome!
