Some changes are coming to this here blog and I am not sure what they will be. After months of dealing with pain in my hands, that moved to my wrists, and then to my left elbow, I finally went to the Doc. I was expecting him to tell me to take it easy, that I was working hard and that everything would be fine if I just rested my hands/wrists/elbows for a few weeks. I was not expecting him to say Osteoarthritis. This really changes everything. I will not be spinning again, ever. Knitting does not look so good either. Hours spent in the kitchen peeling, chopping, and stirring have got to go too. Which leaves a blog about knitting and cooking without much to say.
I can still shake up a tasty cocktail, and I hope to be able to put up very small batches of preserves down the line. Cookbook reviews can still be typed. What else? Too soon to tell.
Luckily I am not someone who hates change and I am looking forward to the new opportunities ahead. Not sure what they will be, but that will be part of the fun.
Well... go slow and do what you can do, because that's all any of us can!
Good wishes for 2013!

I am sorry to hear that you are no longer going to be able to spin or knit. I can't wait to see what new adventures await you this year.
