Things have been busy, busy here at Casa de la Peña. Big Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas preparations, and out of town visitor preparations, all on top of a normally busy household. Next week I will be bringing Youngest Daughter home for the holidays, and the week after that Oldest Son moves across the country for his new job. He will stop at his Grandparents house to celebrate Christmas. They are going to love having him there, but I am having a hard time knowing there will only be two stockings hanging on the mantle this year.
I have started working on a post about my favorite cookbooks of 2013 and hope to have that up this week. You can find my favorite books of 2012 on the sidebar along with some great canning books.
In between laundry and cookie baking I have been working on these.
I have made half a dozen Dala horses and am getting ready to change up the color scheme and make more. For the next batch I will remember to add the hanging ribbons. Doh! They are so fun to make, very relaxing. If you would like to make a few of your own, you can find the pattern here.
Yup, most definitely freezing up here!! Quite the cold snap, although very beautiful and not the usual mush after a snowfall.
Your felt creations are very lovely.
