Over the weekend I went through all the yarn. It is not that much, but if I am going to share with Youngest Daughter, some order is required. First, I pulled out all of my lace and gave it away to my BFFs and my Mom. My hands are never going to let me knit lace again, just the way it is.
Then I collected all of the little bits of leftovers from knitting socks and other fingering weight projects, and got them into bins to use for the sock yarn blanket. I really need to do some knitting on that project. Maybe my knitting goal for this year should be to knit through one of these bins?
I have a little basket of yarn I love that does not yet have a project,
and a basket of the current knitting.
That leaves one big bin in the garage that holds a good selection of colors and weights. I like having a little stash. Not so much that I find myself defending it to the other occupants of the house, but enough to be able to cast on a project without having to go shopping.
How is your stash doing?
My stash has been wonderfully enhanced with the gift of your lace yarn. I have broken my "no pattern/project, no new yarn" But just too irresistable!
